Advanced Therapeutic Massage specializes in massage programs that fit your specific needs. From sports injuries, whiplash, muscle imbalances and much more – allow our team of licensed massage therapists to provide you with the services you need to get back on track to living healthy and pain-free. We have worked alongside physical therapists for 11 years and we have a great referral system.

Laura Kits
Laura graduated from the Health Enrichment Center in 1999. She went through the entire 1,000-hour program. She’s completed several other classes including reflexology, myofascial release, TMJ, hot stone and shoulder solutions. She worked alongside physical therapists, which helped her increase her knowledge greatly. In 2003, she started Advanced Therapeutic Massage, LLC. She has a great awareness of the body and how it all works. She specializes in deep tissue, therapeutic massage. She enjoys working with a wide variety of clients including pregnant women, people recovering from surgery and more. She loves to help people and see the improvements that their body goes through over time due to her massage therapy.
Kimberly Lamborn-Nydam
Kimberly Lamborn-Nydam earned her graduation from Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1997. She worked in Chicago’s Northside until moving back to her home in Grand Rapids in 2001. She specializes in deep tissue, trigger point, sports massage, myofascial release and pregnancy massage. In 2005, she joined us as a part of the massage therapy team.
Sarah Lingenfelter
Sarah is a graduate of Chicago School of Massage Therapy and holds continuing education certificates in Therapeutic and Sports Massage. She has been helping clients with chronic pain management and stress reduction/relaxation therapy for over 25 years. She applies all of the skills and experience she has acquired to serve each client’s individual health needs & wellness goals, and finds great reward in partnering with them in the process. Sarah has worked in various massage venues, including spas, fitness centers, and chiropractic offices, and had her own massage studio in the Chicago suburbs before returning home to Michigan in 2015. She is delighted to be a part of the ATM team.
Dawn VanZee
Dawn VanZee graduated from Blue Heron Academy’s 600-hour massage certification program in 2004. She has been working as a massage therapist since 2006. Dawn specializes in deep tissue, relaxation, and parental massage. She has worked with athletes, people with chronic pain and those recovering from surgery. Her goal is to provide relief to her clients and help them feel restored.
